About

I have launched this blog to have an uncensored and unencumbered place to make posts relevant to the teaching and learning community, on issues of elearning (yes, I said it). Whether it is all that funky Web 2.0/social software malarkey or WebCT/blackboard itself, I intend to put a lens on my institutions ( SFU ) practices and projects within the LIDC specifically.

I have particular interest in web tools that are free and available on the web.  Since youth seem to adopt these technologies much quicker than institutions, their expectations of online environments quickly surpass what is being offered in their university experience.  Perhaps I will be able to bridge that gap somewhat by demystifying some of these tools for educators.

This is a quick and rough about page, I’ll be trying to elaborate more in the future.

For further information about me and check my wiki page or my personal blog.
